ISFORMULA

Returns TRUE if the referenced cell contains a formula.

Syntax

=ISFORMULA(reference)

Arguments

Argument Required Description
reference Required cell to test

Returns

Returns TRUE when the referenced cell contains a formula, otherwise FALSE. Returns #VALUE! when the reference is omitted or the lookup fails.
